SGD 2,915.00

raised of SGD 2,500.00 goal

NUHS Fund Limited is a Founder of the beneficiary.

Hi there!  My name is Juvena. I am a National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS) nurse and I am a #KeepTheBeat Heart Ambassador.

I ran my Maiden Standard Chartered Run and this is a special one because of its significance. I am privileged to be the only nurse running together with a team of dedicated doctors to raise awareness of heart conditions and its impact on heart patients and their families among the Singapore Community. Our aim is to raise $50,000 in total for NUHCS’ The Heart Fund to assist our needy patients with the cost of medical treatment and long-term rehabilitation. The fund will also go towards supporting medical research for breakthrough in the field of cardiovascular diseases as well as training and upgrading of skills to enhance patient care.

Did you know that not all patients can benefit from the usual government subsidies or assistance? As a Cardiac Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) working in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU), it breaks my heart ♥ when I see patients and their families struggle with medical bills.

Thanks to the NUHCS’ The Heart Fund, however, some of our financially disadvantaged patients are able to benefit from the fund and manage the costs of their treatment. As a nurse, it is my wish to not only assist patients in recovering physically but to also help them financially as much as possible. But my own ability is limited -  so I hope that friends will support me and donate generously.

YOUR every dollar and cent will help us keep the (heart) beat going for our heart patients! With your support, I will also do my best to complete the 10km although I am not an avid runner.

Continue supporting my #KeepTheBeat mission by making a donation. Campaign ends on 28 February 2018!

Gift today and help us continue the fight for every heartbeat!

(A pre-set tip amount is included during payment to enable Give.Asia to continue providing a free platform for non-profits and individuals to fund-raise. You may wish to opt-out of the tip by editing the field to be $0.)
